Which part did you leave there in the canyon? By the falls - over there under the rainbow... ahh. Beautiful picture - it takes me away too. I can almost feel the rocks under my boots as I climb up toward the spray, smelling the wet air and hearing a wonderful cacophony of natural sounds. Thanks Old Mule - for providing me a moment of rest :-D

tsduff, the rest made it home last night. But wow what a wonderful trip.

ariel, I have always been dour, but not desolate! With my luck, I would survive WW III.

well, I am told only cockroaches will do so but good luck! and welcome all your parts at home. :)

Cockroaches don't need all their parts. Good to see you're back.

Dour is what I aspire to all my days.

Did you reach that pot of gold?
I bet it sparkled...gla dto have you back and once the rest of you arrives, give the present a chance to shimmer too ;)

I'll be glum as all get out if you'll refrain from posting San Francisco Bay, El Capitan and the floor of Yosemite Valley.

too bad you removed the original photo but the new ones are great, too. the one with the trees is my fave, I cannot tell how I feel when look at it.

tsduff, I prefer lizards

ariel, that's why I am a cat person

doug, I know. I gaze through the photos over breakfast and that gets me to ten o'clock. But I got you on one...Lake Tahoe.

ariel, thank you. I love that one too.

jd, thanks a lot. A southerner out west is a funny thing. I kept getting funny looks when I would ask for sweet tea.

minka, I was hoping for a mermaid.

neva, I just love it out there. You know, I am not new-agey at all, but there is this undeniable energy.
